ABOUT KHALIFA ART CENTER
Khalifa Art Center (KAC) is a well-loved photography hub in Doha, Qatar, with a rich history dating back to 1999. What started as 4x5 Studio, a small photo lab for quick film processing, has grown into a key player in the local art scene.​
Over the years, the center has evolved, rebranding as Al Akass and moving locations—from Souq Waqif to Al Bidda Park in 2006, before settling in the charming Souq Al Wakra. KAC now also operates a branch at Doha Port, offering an expanded range of services.​
Specializing in analog photography and film processing, KAC remains dedicated to traditional techniques in an increasingly digital world. But it’s not just about gear and services—KAC is also a place to learn. Offering workshops, training, and consultations, it fosters a community of photographers and artists, helping everyone from beginners to seasoned professionals grow and connect.​
